When Wade & Carly of Box BL purchased the property in East Gosford they clearly had a vision of how they wanted to spend their time with friends and family. The brief was to make the most of the tricky site creating a multifunctional backyard for everyday use and for entertaining. The top of the block looks over Brisbane Water with stunning sunset views and it needed a space worthy.

Wade's exceptional skillset is displayed in the use of a variety of materials. Stone steps are contained by Corten. Australian hardwood is used for the deck and balustrade while an Off Form Concrete bench supports the Wood Fired Pizza Oven.

 

All this is held together by layers of edible, native and exotic plants creating a garden which in many ways is a nod to the classical Australian Garden many of us grew up to know.
